My name is Pete Anderson. my passion for art reemerged 3 years ago after 17 years of being dormant. What brought back to my passion was a tragic but, a new lease on life I was hospitalized with kidney failure found out I only had one kidney and put on dialysis I am currently awaiting a transplant kidney. I work full time at a passionless job as a data network engineer, with my wife back in school and we are raising a 4 year old. I try to study 2 to 3 hours nightly from 9-12 with Watts Atelier online and utilize your video posts too.
Some of the goals I want out of this class is to get feed back, learn a new process/reinforce the fundamentals of head drawing, learn a bit about quick sketch, and Ideas on how to study/differently.
painting in gouache painting is right around the corner, I can smell it!
I feel I need a firmer grasp on the process/fundamental in order to proceed. In the long run I am trying to pursue a career in Illustration/fine art figure drawing and portraiture. any way this is what I've been able to produce thus far they go in sequence of the photos o the drop box.
