Part 1: Tonal Drawings
A. complete at least 10 5 minute head studies
-review material from week 4 to complete shorter poses
B. Complete at least 5, 10 minute studies
-use 3 values, dark, mid and light
-focus on good edge control, soft core shadows, hard cast shadows, lost edges etc
-use gradations to block in and suggest half-tones
C. Complete at least 1 20 minute study
-exactly like a 10 minute drawing, but work to refine the edges to make more polished and closer to a finish
-focus energy on the border of light and shadow
Part 2: Zhaoming Wu Master copy
-copy at least 1 head drawing by Zhaoming Wu
-make as finished as possible
-try to copy drawing, edges and technique
